I just finished reading the entire trilogy- in three days. AWESOME!!! I've started dreaming about them now- it's a bummer to have to wake up when I've been watching Kantri soar in the skies above me. I can hardly wait to see what happens next, but I promise to try and be patient. After all, there are hundreds of others who found your books long before I did and have had to wait many more seasons for the next installment!

Thank you so much for sharing the gift of your imagination and the lovely tale of Lanen and Akor/Varien. I wish you all the best, and want you to know that your bardic talent is much appreciated!

Sincerely,

~Katy

Hi! I've been reading your books for 8 or 9 years now, and I still love to go back and reread them! They are just those books that I always love to read again, no matter how many (thousand) times I've already read them! I am very excited for your next trilogy, but I know it takes time, so I am patiently waiting until they come out, and I will be first in line in my small town to buy them! Thanks for all your time and imagination!

I've adored your books since I was seven, when I stumbled on your young adult edition of Song in the Silence in my favourite bookshop. For years I didn't realise there was more in the series - I can't tell you how excited I was when I got a little older and found all the adult editions!

I have paperback copies of all the books, now - including that much-thumbed first ya edition, still! - but I've been buying the Kindle versions from amazon too, and rereading the series, one a month. I was just about to go buy the Kindle copy of Redeeming the Lost, but it's gone from amazon! Please tell me it's not gone forever?

I can't wait to see what you write next

Hello Elizabeth~
Very curious to find out if you have any knowledge of a Dante Kerner in your family tree~ Doing some Family tree research and I would be much appreciative if you could reply. Warm Regards! Heidi

Elizabeth wrote: No, sorry, no Dante that I know of. Hope you find him/her!

I happened to stumble across your wonderful Song in the Silence series on my bookshelf tonight, and intend to reread it yet again! The mark of a truly well-written book is, in my opinion, one that can be read over and over and still be enjoyed. I just wanted to thank the author that gave me hours of pleasure delving into the land of Kolmar. My best friend and I used to read the books together, so your series holds a lot of sentimental value as well. Best wishes and I'm so glad to hear you're planning another trilogy!

Elizabeth wrote: Alex, what a lovely thing to say! Those books I take the time to re-read are like old friends, that 'summon up remembrance of things past'. I am honoured to have joined that honour guard in your reading life - thank you.

First I love your books! and I hope all is well with you, there hasn't been any new news since April 2011. Again hope you are okay

Elizabeth wrote: Yes, thank you for your concern, I'm ok. Been going through some tricky personal times lately. More about this in my next news update, which should be happening this week. Thanks for reading my books!

I just finished Song in the Silence and immediately visited my local used bookstore to find the other two! I'm so happy I discovered this series. So beautifully written and the characters are amazing. I've fallen in love with all the Kantri, especially Shikrar. I can't wait to start the next book

Elizabeth wrote: Thank you! And I know mothers shouldn't have favorites, but Shikrar is very dear to my heart, too.

I just ran across your novel Song in the Silence at a thrift shop, and picked it up to send to my younger siblings for them to read. They passed it around, all loved it and mailed it back to me to have me read it. I read it on my (rather long) commute to and from work every day. It was wonderful. I will be finding the next two novels and sharing them with my siblings and waiting (somewhat) patiently for them to mail them back to me.
Thank you for a wonderful book that bridged a pretty large age gap!
