I have read much in my life and find it hard to even begin as to what your stories have done for me. You see , to me anyone who can make you laugh and cry through the course of a book automatically takes it to the top of my well read booklist. You have old favorites, like a best friend you turn to when your sore or miserable. Lanen and Akor you see are mine. I to have fought that demon master call Depression, the ultimate master from the 7th hells. But he can not win! Not in my life and not in yours. I fight the battle heavy right now for my own reasons as you do yours. (and we share in the lost of Anne). Please as one sister in need to another- Don't let that monster win. I turn to my friends within your books for escape and solence. I dream of Lanen and what her twins will become...I ask of a kindred soul to continue to share there lives with us...find the strenght to contine and let Varien help blast the demon of the seven hells back to where he belongs so that the song in the silence will continue to sarenaid the heart sore of the rest of us out here. Elizabeth , you have friends, support and music from out souls reaching out to you in help. Hold fast to that!
We are here for you too.
Sister in Soul, Shari-Lyn

Elizabeth wrote: Shari-Lyn, thank you for your support, and for letting me know what my work means to you. I am delighted to have entered the ranks of your 'comfort books' - I have my own list, and they are as precious as old friends. Thank you, and I wish you resolve and success as you battle your own demon Depression. Regards, Elizabeth

Elizabeth, I just wanted you to know that your books have been an inspiration to me. I find that I read them at least three times a year! They are one of my greatest escape books when things get to be too much for me. I hope to hear more about the Kindred in whatever book you write in the future, for they just fascinate me.
A devoted fan
Tara Lyn

Dear Ms. Kerner,
I just wanted to give my sympathies for your recent losses. Too many people leave this life too early, and it seems like, as the song says, the good die young. I really do hope you continue to feel up to everything, and know that there are a lot of people out there that you made happy. You helped me escape into a different world for a while when I was in a difficult place, I hope that helps!

Elizabeth wrote: It does help, Heather. Thank you.

Hi, just wanted to say that your Lanen Kaelar books are one of my favorite trilogies! I read (and re-read) them about 7 years ago and since then have been waiting patiently for more lol, so excited that you will have another book out this year

Elizabeth wrote: Thank you for your kind words, Michelle, but alas, book is due out in 2013 now. Sorry about that. But it is coming!

I just happened to pick up your first 2 books and thoroughly enjoyed them. I can't wait to see what Lanen and the rest of them do. I love your strong women characters and am reminded of Paksenarrion (Elizabeth Moon), Kethry and Talia (Mercedes Lackey), and all the dragon riders (Anne McCaffery). Keep up the good work. I can't wait to see what other adventures you think up.
